JUSTIN Winery is a family owned and operated winery making estate grown and produced wines.

The property was founded in 1981 by Justin Baldwin, formerly an investment and international banker, when he planted the 160 acre property to the major Bordeaux varietals and created their Estate vineyard. Justin Winery is located in the Paso Robles appellation of California’s Central Coast. The region’s first grapes were planted in 1779 by Franciscan missionaries and today are home to the third highest concentration of wineries in the United States. The Paso Robles appellation encompasses more than 600,000 acres and is the largest stand alone AVA in California.

JUSTIN Winery makes world class wines that reflect the unique soils and climate of its California Central Coast property. Emphasis is placed on making Bordeaux-style blends and single varietals, combining Old World tradition with New World techniques. The prime focus ison a “left bank” Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, named ISOSCELES; JUSTIFICATION, it’s “right bank” Merlot and Cabernet Franc cousin; and varietal bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. We also produce limited amounts of Tempranillo, Zinfandel, Malbec, Petit Verdot, OBTUSE (Port-style dessert wine made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon), Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier.

In addition to the original home estate vineyard planted in 1981, JUSTIN has expanded its vineyard acreage by working with a handful of select growers in the Paso Robles appellation. Long standing partnerships with our team of quality growers have yielded World Class results. Each of the vineyards and growers that they work with are unique, together they are the foundation for JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery.Landmark Winery was founded by the great great granddaughter of John Deere. Greg Stach is the current winemaker who combines traditional techniques with a a focus on the distinct vineyard characteristics to develop the world-class intense fruit flavor in Landmark wines.
